Over 70% percent of fast food employees are 14-18 years old and more than half are Black. So the only good fast food provides are first time jobs for teens, everyone has to start somewhere. Most of the jobs skills you learn can transfer to other jobs, but working at a fast food place does help with school performance.

Salaries at McDonald's

There are a lot of good graphs in this article that state the various salaries offered to employees of McDonald's. Pay Rate varies from many variables such as place, experience, and job position. Chicago has the highest pay rate with $19 per hour, Nice! While everywhere else is 5.50-10.40 per hour. McDonald's is tied with KFC in highest pay rate, Chick-fi-la has the highest pay rate in the entire country. McDonald's is a big chain, if they went out hundreds of thousands of people would lose their jobs.

The economic cycle

Here is a good article that discuss how right now we are in the fear part of the cycle, but we could be here for awhile thanks to the government.
